The Cross. His Death. Our Champion. | Good Friday

Good Friday is often associated with tears, mourning, and sorrow over the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. But the Biblical narrative actually points to a victorious Champion who conquered sin and its consequences on this day. On this day, Jesus overcame the pain of His suffering to complete the work for which He was sent – to free humanity from the grip of the curse of sin. He endured the cross, overcame death to become our Champion!
